I use microns, but when doing black/white work I find Staedtler pigment liners to work very well. I haven't used mine in a while since a lot of my work has been in color lately and I didn't have them with me over winter break. But if you're not coloring, then they work great for line art. I've also got the non-refillable, cheaper copic multiliners (but I try to save those for just copic marker work since they are harder for me to replace, but that's just that no one around here sells them). It's hard to resist just sketching with them but I tend to be hard on the 0.1 nips so I have to restrain myself :P
Also, I really like using Pentel Pocket Brush Pen for filing in spot blacks. I probably shouldn't but I can't resist, it makes filling in hair so much easier and nicer. It's also water proof which the bigger Pentel brush pen is not.

Hmm, so are the Copic liners worth the investment? They go for around eight bucks at the campus store (I'm POSITIVE they're overpriced...), and I think they're refillable.
I think if you plan to use them a lot and stick to them they can be good, but I bounce around too much get refillable ones (aside from my two brush pens). I think aside from refilling the ink you can change the nibs and other parts of them. I just don't see the practicality but if you're coloring a lot with copics they should be good. Otherwise if you're just doing line art, like for comics, you can find cheaper pens. And yes the refillable copic pens do retail for $8 each :/
