Hey guys. I had planned to upload a new drawing after getting back from work but I wasn't expecting to have to stay late (thanks to customers deciding to come in 3 minutes till closing and then take their time looking around. I had to stay an extra 30 minutes to get things done), and to be this physically and mentally EXHAUSTED.
You should have seen me try to make dinner when I got home. I was curled up on the floor, surrounded by rice that I dropped everywhere while trying to measure it, sobbing like a wounded animal. It was pretty pathetic. I might have to draw it later...
But since I'm so tired I had then decided to post a drawing I did a few months ago especially for Halloween that I was quite proud of. But after searching my files I seem to have not scanned it yet. "No fear" I thought, "I have it in a sketchbook still" except oh wait I don't. And I still can't find it. So here is a drawing of my Scion: HERO character Ramla getting a violent bloody nose (those happen before she sees a prophecy, although I took liberties in making this one much more bloody).
I have a new watercolor painting planned for tomorrow. Thanks for sticking with me!
Also be sure to give El Goro some love and listen to his newest "31 Days of Halloween" podacast. I'm enjoying the hell out of them and so should you!
Also to cap off this terrible evening it looks like Blogger is spazzing out and reset everyone's blog views and traffic/blog info and stats. I hope that will be fixed soon, otherwise it looks like we're starting fresh :/

Chillin with Ramla
I finally had some time to draw myself a little something during my weekly online RP session with my friends. I've got Ramla and her companion the messenger Memphis. I used references for her clothes and for Memphis which resulted in me liking this a whole lot more. However her left foot looks broken now. I originally wanted her to be balancing on her heels and then I couldn't make up my mind and just concentrated on the boots being accurate. I'll try to fix it digitally later. I also gave her pigtails for fun.

Moar digital work
A few more digital works that I did last night.
Cage in her Hair by ~Spork-Bunny on deviantART
For this one I thought really hard about complimentary colors. Color is still something I'm experimenting with.

Senior 'photo' of my Scion:Hero character Ramla.
Both done in Photoshop CS2 with an intuos 3 Wacom tablet.

Sketch Break
Took a short study break to draw Ramla, my Scion:Hero character, doing some parkor.

I want to do more comics of her over the winter break. We'll see how it goes.

Busy Busy Bee
So school is up and running again and it turns out I have a shit-ton of reading to do for classes. I haven't had much time for sketching lately but I have a few things to share. I'm also up to page 5 of "Run Ramla Run" but I'm not sure I can continue it since I haven't played Scion:Hero nor do I "know" Saturday enough to keep writing him in this comic. I do like it so we'll see where it goes.
Recent stuffs:

Pages 3-5 of Run Ramla Run

My good friend Erin now has an 11"x17" scanner so next time I'm over there I'll scan all the pages properly and post them at my deviantart. I spent a lot of time on them so I think they belong there. I may even go back and correct some things on the actual pages. Saturday's face looks off on a panel or two.
Hopefully I'll have more work soon!

Run Ramla Run
For the last two nights I've been devoting about 2-3 hours of free time to doing B4 sized comic pages of a scene I've been mapping out in my head of my Scion:Hero character being chased by a monster. I finished page 2 tonight and I plan to make it about 5 pages. It should result with her and Saturday meeting for the first time. It's just something I really wanted to do and it feels great doing it. Here's a few photos since my scanner is too small for it.

Artist Trading Cards
Hey everyone!
It's been a while since my last post here but between DA, FA, facebook, OMN LJ, and my VCU blog (which is also a summer blog now) I have a lot places to post art ^^;
Today I want to talk about Artist Trading Cards, or ATCs for short. It's this cool thing where you and someone else draw on a small card made of any paper you like and you trade them. It's a great way to have a piece of art from another artist without having to draw a huge picture. And it's so verstile, you can use collage, paint, markers, ink, have movable parts, cover it in resin, anything you want! Recently my good friend LostReach had an ATC trade set up that I participated in.
Today I received my half of the trade

She drew my Scion:Hero character Ramla, and I LOVE IT!
My half of the trade was her steampunk villain 'Lady Chimera'

I've also been invited to participate in an ATC comunity on DA called ATC Fanatics I've got a few cards faved on their page and from there people can see what they like and talk to the artist who did them about trading that card. It's a great idea and I'm working hard on new cards. I've also got an OMN comic page to do today since I finished my paper early but I plan on finishing the Finley Manor crew photo portraits up and taking cool photos with them.
I'm off for now! I'll be back later with some arts C:

You got a license for that?
This was for my own amusement. I swear.

Thanks to Ian it also spawned this:

(He's referring to his clothes). Saturday gets the aristocratic treatment while I gave Ramla a dress inspired by Black Peace Now but in purple and slightly different.
Silly silly fun. Now back to work!
